CALLING ALL SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHERS!!!

***UPDATE: Submissions have closed.***
Thank you for the amazing response.

There are so many BTS giveaways and blog hops going on right now that I wanted to do something special just for "SPECIAL EDUCATORS!" Sped teachers tend to receive the least support so I thought it would be fun to team up with some special education bloggers and throw a little party for them too!!!!

Are you interested? Could you contribute a sped related resource.....for a giveaway or a freebie hop?

What I'd like to do is hold a product giveaway and do a freebie blog hop! The giveaway would be with rafflecopter so you could all display it on your blogs as well for extra exposure. It's also a great opportunity to gain more followers and likes on your blog, page, or store.

The freebie hop is optional, and would require you to plan a blog post on a specific date that includes a freebie and links to the next blog (all of this information will be provided by me). Visitors will get to click from blog to blog and grab a freebie at each blog!!!

Sounds exciting, right!???? Now I've yet to create buttons for this event because I want to see if I get a sufficient amount of responses to pull this off first! If I can get at least 10, I think it will be a go!!!

I know many have already started school, but many are not starting until the end of this month or even after Labor Day, so we still have some time. Plus, I know many Special Educators tend to come up with wishlists after school begins and they have gotten to know their students.

Still, I am setting a deadline for submissions at one week from today!

Spread the word to other sped bloggers you know! I tried to email everyone linked above and in my blogroll, but there were about 7 blogs with no email or contact link....side note....
(Get an email on your blog! It's how people contact you to do reviews! Very Important!)

I appreciate you being a part of this event and thank you for helping to build a collaborative SPED community!

To participate with me, simply click on the button below on the left to fill out the short form!

Thanks again.... So excited....I'll be in touch!!!

What I Bought Linky

What an exciting sale!!! I LOVE all of my purchases and also loved the sound of the dinging from all of the purchases occurring in my own store! I do believe I am set for the year and am overjoyed with every thing! I'm sure we've all at some point made that purchase that was a little risky and that we were not very happy with afterwards! But I highly recommend all of these products!

If you're thinking of purchasing any of these items, you won't go wrong! I highly recommend all of these!

Head over to "Blog Hoppin" for some other great finds from other teacher bloggers!

August Currently!

I can't believe I did a blog post yesterday and forgot to link up with Farley's Currently!!!! So I'm back to do it today!

Here's what I'm currently doing!!

Yes, it is just that quiet in my house today that I can hear the appliances humming!!

It's supposed to rain and storm all weekend.....and when you live in the desert where it's been 120 all week.....rain and storms are welcome any time! However, it does make me kinda lazy!

I am so disgusted with my printer! It is a cheap Epson WF-2530 and it SUCKS! Don't buy it! If it's out of colored ink it won't even let you print in black!! I JUST WANT TO PRINT SOMETHING IN BLACK FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!!! MY BLACK INK IS FULL!

I'm working on a massive science unit! It's gonna be huge you guys! It's up to over 200 pages right now! I do a lot of science with my kiddos and last year we did a science experiment nearly every single day. This unit is a compilation of all of the experiments we did last year and includes a recording worksheet for every experiment and is differentiated for 3 different levels! I can't wait to get it finished!

And although it says I go back on August 20th, I will of course be going back before then. That's the first day we must report, as we all know, that's just not enough time to get everything done before the kiddos arrive on that Monday! Plus, open house is the Friday before! I'll probably head back on the 18th or even a few days before. I'm not changing out my theme this year or rooms, so I shouldn't have as much to do as I did last year!

So back to the printer thing, what printer do you use or recommend?? I would love some suggestions! Leave me a comment and then head over and link up your Currently {here}.
