August Currently!

 I can't believe I did a blog post yesterday and forgot to link up with Farley's Currently!!!! So I'm back to do it today!

Here's what I'm currently doing!!

Yes, it is just that quiet in my house today that I can hear the appliances humming!!

It's supposed to rain and storm all weekend.....and when you live in the desert where it's been 120 all week.....rain and storms are welcome any time! However, it does make me kinda lazy!

I am so disgusted with my printer! It is a cheap Epson WF-2530 and it SUCKS! Don't buy it! If it's out of colored ink it won't even let you print in black!! I JUST WANT TO PRINT SOMETHING IN BLACK FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!!! MY BLACK INK IS FULL!

I'm working on a massive science unit! It's gonna be huge you guys! It's up to over 200 pages right now! I do a lot of science with my kiddos and last year we did a science experiment nearly every single day. This unit is a compilation of all of the experiments we did last year and includes a recording worksheet for every experiment and is differentiated for 3 different levels! I can't wait to get it finished!

And although it says I go back on August 20th, I will of course be going back before then. That's the first day we must report, as we all know, that's just not enough time to get everything done before the kiddos arrive on that Monday! Plus, open house is the Friday before! I'll probably head back on the 18th or even a few days before. I'm not changing out my theme this year or rooms, so I shouldn't have as much to do as I did last year!

So back to the printer thing, what printer do you use or recommend?? I would love some suggestions! Leave me a comment and then head over and link up your Currently {here}

  1. I love science! During student teaching a couple years ago, my favorite unit was a science unit (which is crazy since I'm a reading and math nerd!!).

  2. Hi! I found you through the August Currently Linky! How frustrating about your printer! I want a new one too. I'm thinking about investing in a laser printer. I was talking to an associate at Best Buy and he said that in the long run a laser is cheaper than the other ones. He said you can print SO much more on one bottle of toner than you can on the ink cartridges. If you do a lot of printing you might want to look into that. I have an HP that has the copier, scanner, printer combo. It's fine, but it sucks up the ink. I feel like I'm replacing cartridges every week. Good luck with whatever you decide.

  4. I love the currently link up, but always forget it! I guess I know what I'll be doing today. :-) As for the printer, we bought the LaserJet Pro. It was a little expensive, but it's been the only printer we haven't had issues using! The ink lasts a long time, too. Good luck!

  5. I live in the desert as well (In AZ), so I can really appreciate how nice some rain could be. I'm hoping for some here as well. Enjoy the rest of your summer.

I LOVE reading your comments, and replying! But the only way you'll get my reply is if you are a blogger and have that set up on your Blogger account, or if you come back to your comment to see if I've replied,(which is unlikely to happen).
